All practice CPCA must carry active professional liability insurance. Many employers require you to carry a minimum amount of insurance now because of the increasing cost of claims. If you are also a member of a provincial college, body, or regulator, check with them to make sure you are also meeting their liability insurance criteria.

The CPCA is always looking for new volunteers to join various committees, projects, and sometimes even the Board of Directors. Getting involved in different committees is a great way to meet other members of the CPCA and grow your network, as well as work directly with the National Board of Directors and express you interest in becoming a board member in the future!
